i believe in our future

honorable judges, fellow students:

good afternoon!

节能减排指的是减少能源浪费和降低废气排放。近几年，我国经济快速增长付出了巨大的资源和环境代价，经济发展与资源环境的矛盾日趋尖锐，如果按此发展，资源支撑不住，环境容纳不下，社会承受不起，经济发展难以为继。因此，走节能减排、节约发展、清洁发展、安全发展的可持续发展战略，才是实现经济又好又快发展的正确道路。无数的雨点汇成了溪流，无数溪流成就了大海！节能减排要有成效需要广大民众的支持！我们每天生活中的衣食住行都与之紧密联系着！

一、家里节能减排

1.照明用电

注意随手关灯。使用高效节能灯泡。美国的能源部门估计，单单使用高效节能灯泡代替传统电灯泡，就能避免四亿吨二氧化碳被释放。白天可以干完的事不留着晚上做，洗衣服、写作业在天黑之前做完。早睡早起有利于身体健康，又环保节能。

2.低碳烹调

尽量节约厨房里的能源。食用油在加热时产生致癌物，并造成油烟污染居室环境。减少煎炒烹炸的菜肴，多煮食蔬菜。不要把饭锅和水壶装得太满，否则煮沸后溢出汤水，既浪费能源，又容易扑灭灶火，引发燃气泄漏。调整火苗的燃烧范围，使其不超过锅底外缘，取得最佳加热效果。如果锅小火大的话，火苗烧在锅底四周只会白白消耗燃气。

3.节约水

淘米水是很好的去污剂，可以留下来洗碗或者浇花。沾了油的锅和盘子要先用用过的餐巾纸擦干净，洗起来既节水省时，又可少用洗涤剂，减少水污染。冲洗衣服时，可以加入少量肥皂粉，因为洗衣粉遇到肥皂会减少很多泡沫，既省水又节约清洗时间洗脸、洗手的水用小脸盆接住水，然后倒进大桶收集起来冲马桶。洗手、洗澡、洗衣、洗菜的水和较干净的洗碗水，都可以收集起来洗抹布、擦地板等。

4.家用电器的节能使用

购买洗衣机、电视机或其他电器时，选择可靠的低耗节能产品。电视、电脑不用时及时切断电源，既节约用电又防止插座短路引发火灾的隐患。不用时关掉饮水机的电源。保持冰箱处于无霜状态。

5.垃圾分类处理

垃圾分类可以回收宝贵的资源，同时减少填埋和焚烧垃圾所消耗的能源。例如，废纸被直接送到造纸厂，用以生产再生纸；饮料瓶、罐子和塑料等也可以送到相关的工厂，成为再生资源；家用电器可以送到专门的厂家，进行分解回收。家里可以准备不同的垃圾袋，分别收集废纸、塑料、包装盒、厨房垃圾等。每天进行垃圾分类和回收！

6.交流捐赠多余物品

将多余或不用的物品集中起来，通过交换和捐赠的办法，达到重复利用的目的。

二、在路上节能减排

1.汽车

高能效汽车每公里产生更少二氧化碳。一般说来，汽车重量越大越耗油，产生的二氧化碳越多。做好汽车的日常养护，确保它能在最佳状态下行使。检察轮胎气压和机油。不需要的时候，把车顶行李架和箱子拆下来，因为这些都会使车子的效率降低超过10%。行驶时注意油离配合，保持在经济时速。试验显示，油门踩到底比中速行驶费油2—3倍，所以在行驶中猛刹车、猛起步都是大忌，尽量做到平稳起步。在排队、堵车或等人时，尽量避免发动机空转。发动机空转3分钟的油耗可以让汽车行驶1公里。因此，如果滞留时间超过1分钟，就应该熄火。

2.明智的出行

先计划好最佳路线再出发。仔细想想你旅行需求。尽量使用公共交通工具。你有想过跟家人和朋友共乘一辆汽车吗？你真的需要飞行吗？可能一个电话会议更节省时间、金钱和降低二氧化碳排放量。提高出门办事效率，除非必要时，不单独驾车出门。每次出门之前，把要办的事列出来，争取一口气办完。这样可以减少塞车造成的能源浪费和环境污染。

US studies have shown that men who smoke increase their chances of dying from the disease by more than 22 times.

Women who smoke increase this risk by nearly 12 times.

Lung cancer is a difficult cancer to treat – long term survival rates are poor.

Smoking also increases the risk of oral, uterine, liver, kidney, bladder, stomach, and cervical cancers, and leukaemia.

Another health problem associated with tobacco is emphysema, which, when combined with chronic bronchitis, produces chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
