Jane Eyre, is a poor but aspiring, small in body but huge in soul, obscure but self-respecting girl. After we close the covers of the book, after having a long journey of the spirit, Jane Eyre, a marvelous figure, has left us so much to recall and to think:
We remember her goodness: for someone who lost arms and blinded in eyes, for someone who despised her for her ordinariness, and even for someone who had hurt her deeply in the past.
We remember her pursuit of justice. It’s like a companion with the goodness. But still, a virtuous person should promote the goodneon one side and must check the badneon the other side.
We remember her self-respect and the clear situation on equality. In her opinion, everyone is the same at the God’s feet. Though there are differences in status、in property and also in appearance, but all the human being are equal in personality.

When we think of this girl, what she gave us was not a pretty face or a transcendent temperament that make us admire deeply, but a huge charm of her personality.
Actually, she wasn’t pretty, and of course, the ordinary appearance didn’t make others feel good of her, even her own aunt felt disgusted with it. In my mind, though a person’s beauty on the face can make others once feel that one is attractive and charming, if his or her mind isn’t the same beautiful as the appearance, such as beauty cannot last for, when others find that the beauty which had charmed them was only a falsity, it’s not true, they will like the person no more. For a long time, only a person’s GREat virtue, a noble soul, a beautiful heart can be called as AN EVERLASTING BEAUTY, just as Kahill Gibran has said, that ‘Beauty is a heart enflamed and a soul enchanted’. I can feel that how beauty really is, as we are all fleshly men, so we can’t distinguish whether a man is of nobleneor humbleness, but fleshly men, so we can’t distinguish whether a man is of nobleneor humbleness, but as there are great differences in our souls, and from that, we can know that whether a man is noble or ordinary, and even obscure, that is, whether he is beautiful or not.
Her story makes us thinking about life and we learn much from her experience, at least, that is a fresh new recognition of the real beauty。

through the first person narrator, edgar allan poe's "the tell-tale heart" illustrates how man's imagination is capable of being so vivid that it profoundly affects people's lives. the manifestation of the narrator's imagination unconsciously plants seeds in his mind, and those seeds grow into an unmanageable situation for which there is no room for reason and which culminates in murder. the narrator takes care of an old man with whom the relationship is unclear, although the narrator's ***ment of "for his gold i had no desire" lends itself to the fact that the old man may be a family member whose death would mo***arily benefit the narrator.
moreover, the narrator also intimates a caring relationship when he says, "i loved the old man. he had never wronged me. he had never given me insult".
the narrator's obsession with the old man's eye culminates in his own undoing as he is engulfed with internal conflict and his own transformation from confidence to guilt.
the fixation on the old man's vulture-like eye forces the narrator to concoct a plan to eliminate the old man. the narrator confesses the sole reason for killing the old man is his eye: "whenever it fell upon me, my blood ran cold; and so by degrees - very gradually - i made up my mind to rid myself of the eye for ever".
the narrator begins his tale of betrayal by trying to convince the reader he is not insane, but the reader quickly surmises the narrator indeed is out of control. the fact that the old man's eye is the only motivation to murder proves the narrator is so mentally unstable that he must search for justification to kill. in his mind, he rationalizes murder with his own unreasonable fear of the eye.
the narrator wrestles with conflicting feelings of responsibility to the old man and feelings of ridding his life of the man's "evil eye". although afflicted with overriding fear and derangement, the narrator still acts with quasi-allegiance toward the old man; however, his kindness may stem more from protecting himself from suspicion of watching the old man every night than from genuine ***passion for the old man. the narrator shows his contrariety when he confesses he loves the old man, but he is still too overwhelmed by the pale blue eye to restrain himself from the all-consuming desire to eliminate the eye.
his struggle is evident as he waits to kill the old man in his sleep so that he won't ha一ve to face the old man when he kills him; but on the other hand, the narrator can't justify the killing unless the vulture eye was open. the narrator is finally able to kill the man because "i saw it with perfect distinctness - all a dull blue, with a hideous veil over it that chilled the very marrow in my bones; but i could see nothing else of the old man's face or person: for i had directed the ray as if by instinct, precisely upon the damned spot".
the mission of the narrator begins with meticulous planning and confidence, but ultimately his guilty conscience creates his downfall. for seven days, the narrator watches the old man while he sleeps and he even "chuckled at the idea" that the old man knows nothing of the narrator's "secret deeds or thoughts". the narrator's ***ments show his confidence and audacity, even pride, in his plan to kill:
"never before that night had i felt the extent of my own powers - of my sagacity. i could scarcely contain my feelings of triumph". the narrator's assurance in his evil deed continued even when the police came to check on the old man and investigate the loud noises neighbors heard the night before:
"i **iled,-for what had i to fear? i bade the gentlemen wel***e". however, the narrator's mind is quickly consumed with guilt, which creates his delusion of hearing the old man's heartbeat taunting him from under the flooring.
his paranoia makes the heart beat "louder - louder - louder!" and in his state of delirium he confesses to killing the old man in hopes of ridding his life of the menacing heartbeat: "i felt that i must scream or die!

the narrator sets out to rid his life of the fear he created by obsessing over the man's eye, but once that fear is destroyed, another fear - that of the heartbeat - is created and be***es more overwhelming than the first. in playing mind games with himself - seeing how far he can push himself to triumph over his own insanity - the narrator slips further into a fantasy world. his overriding confidence in killing the man ultimately turns into overriding guilt even as he justifies in his mind the sa一vage killing, chopping up the body and placing it under the floorboards.
the narrator's imagination creates his need and plan to destroy the eye, but it then creates the need to sa一ve himself from the heartbeat that drives him over the edge.

The tale of two cities is a historical story, one of Dickens’ long fictions.The background to the novel is the revolution of France .It portrayed a brutal and bloody story , but it also contained love and friendship.
In the novel, Dickens sarcastically described a typical cruel nobleman—marquis of Evermonde . When he was young he and his brother stole a countrywoman by force and killed her family .What’s worse , he used his power to imprison Dr Manette , a kind and honest man who knew all the things they had done and wanted to disclose their crimes .
In order to hide their crimes. Marquis of Evermonde and his brother threw Doctor Manette into prison for 18 years . During these 18 years,Doctor Manette lost his freedom and suffer a great in spirit .
I felt unthinkable that Marquis of Evermonde and his brother killed people just as easily as they killed chickens. They deprived other people’s freedom as they liked and they thought it was normal and unremarkable. They had never realized that they had done something wrong or something improper. Because their nature was cruel and
evil, like demons. There is an old saying which means: People who commit too many crimes will kill themselves. After all, there is justice in the world. The demons can’t be rampant forever. Because the world will not forgive them. They will pay their lives for their crimes. Let’s see the consequence of the Marquis,’’He lay there like a stone with a knife pushed into his heart.” I think it was just what he ought to gain and it is a real exciting scene.
The Marquis’ death was just the beginning of people’s resistance to the nobleman. Gradually more and more people joined in the revolution. One after another nobleman were sentenced to death and their heads were cut down . However, some innocent people were implicated in the revolution. Charles Darney was one of them He was the nephew of Marquis of Evermonde. To the opposite of his uncle, Darney was a kind and independent young man.
Dickens spoke highly of kindness mercy and love in the novel too. This is the other thone of the novel when Doctor Manette was released from prison. It was his daughter Lucie who took care of him and helped him return to normal. During this time, Dr manette and Lucie knew Charles Darney and Sydeny Carton, the two young man fell in
love with Lucie at the same time . At last, Lucie married Chares Darney .Dr Manette accepted Darney as his son-in-law although he knew that Darney was the nephew of the man who threw him into prison for18 years. This is the love between father and daughter. And Sydeny Carton , the very great man ,loved Lucie deeply. He promised Lucie that he
would do everything for her happiness. He did it truely ,he sacrificed himself instead of Darney who looked the same as him. This is love for lovers . This is the most wonderful thing in the world. It also reminds us that no matter how no matter when there is true love existing. At the end , Lucie, Dr Manette and Darney arrived in England safely.
The tale of two cities is different from other historical fictions. Its characters and main plots are fictional under the real background of the revolution of France. The author made the experience of the fictional charactor Dr Manette as the main clue.The plots are complicated, and they are flexuous and dramatic. The structure is complete and rigorous.
Dickens had dear love and hate. He praised those who ought to be praised and attacked those who ought to be attacked. The motivation of the novel maybe just warn the English dominators. But I think we can learn something meaningful from the tale of two cities.

The book’s time span lasts from the 1975 to 1985, the turbulent years in Chinese history. The story happened in a small village called Shuangshui village. Almost the whole book is describe the life and people in Shuangshui village. During that ten years, the Cultural Revolution has came to an end, Deng Xiaoping came into power,a new mode of production-- household contract responsibility system with remuneration linked to output has came out. All of these changes lead to the happen of the story. Shungshui village and it’s people is just like a miniature picture of the whole China and it’s people. The book included every aspect of the society that time. Lu Yao wanted to use a kind of realism style of writing to draw the outline of a great social picture scroll. In the scroll, everyone in different stratum is lifelike in both characters and features. This is an important point, because of Lu Yao ‘s consummate novel skill and the deadly serious writing attitude, this novel turned into one of the best teacher aids of that period history.
The pedagogical meaning I get from this book is a kind of profound understanding to the peasant in our own country. The younger generation in the modern city is very hard to figure out the meaning of this point, because they are far away from the real country life. Peasants’ life, peasants’ thought ,the days peasant’s had and now and the future, all of these are quite unfamiliar to most of us. But Lu Yao have seen the character out of the common in the protagonists. Take Sun shaoping as an example, he had a secondary education and through a self-study came to a undergraduate level. The author put many excellent qualities to this leading role. All the roles in Lu Yao’s novel are ordinary people, but all the marvelous characters in their body made them different.

英文合约和中文合约都一样，标题并不是一定要有的，因为当事人间的法律关系是用合约内容的各个条款来判断，标题基本上不会产生任何影响。但为方便辨识，合约撰写人通常都会依照合约性质，在合约首页的最上方给予一个适当的标题，例如 share purchase agreement (股份收购合约)、joint venture agreement(合资合约)、loan agreement(贷款合约)、distribution agreement(经销合约)、license agreement(授权合约)等等。
英文合约在标题之后，各式各样的条款出现之前，通常会先有一段“序文”，一般而言不会占去太多的篇幅，目的在很简略地介绍合约规范内容之人、事、时、地、物等背景，让阅读合约的人在接触冗长复杂的主文前，先有一个基础的认识与心理准备。
详细来说，序文通常又分作以下两个段落：第一部份文字叫做 commencement，也就是合约的“开场白”，内容在说明合约当事人姓名或名称、当事人的国籍与住所或主营业所、订约日期等等。

第二部份叫做 recitals 或 preambles ，是由数个以 whereas 字样开头的句子所组合而成(这些句子俗称为 whereas clauses。whereas 的本义是 when in fact、considering that、或that being the case 的意思，所以whereas clauses 就表示当事人乃是在本于对这些事实(例如订约的目的、背景来由等)的共同认识，订立此合约。以下是一个经销契约(distribution agreement)的whereas clauses，很简单明了地叙述制造商与经销商双方合作的意愿。

By now，I have to say a things about the Gandalf。He falls fromm the cliff but he didn’t die at once。He fights the monster from here to there。He killed the monster and dead。The Gandalf in gray was dead，but the Gandalf in white was born。He became much more powerful。It’s really cool。I have to say。My favourite roles still was him。

At the beginning of the film， XuDatong is given an award and later he delivers a speech。 What makes me impressed most is in his speech he says “one day I will bee one of you， a truly successful American， today this award proved that America is a true land of opportunity and I am the living proof of that。” At that moment Xu thinks he has realized his American Dream totally with his lovingly wife and adorable son。 However， I think it is ironical that to make a speech like that and I assume it is made on purpose to hind a clue for the story’s development。 How many non-American people have such a beautiful American dream? One of my classmate studies in American now and before he went aboard he told me his American dream is he can stand at the top of the New York。 To be honest， I also dream that one day I can get the Green Card living there happily and successfully maybe working at the Wall Street。 When Xu gets the award he thinks he entirely melted in the melting pot neglecting the multicultural obs
truct， later the plot goes against the way he thinks。 And later Quinlan asked Xu ‘why you be the scapegoat of your father?’ Xu answers ‘because he is Chinese。’ Then maybe Xu knows that there is always a wide gap between Chinese and American cultures。
The second scene is Xu hit his son Denis because Denis hit the son of xu’s boss， at the middle of the film xu tells his boss that he hit his own son is only to show his respect to his boss John Quinlan， that time Quinlan feels puzzled “what a Chinese logic”， yes， American can never understand such a logic full of Chinese characteristic， because they respect everyone including the children， they won’t beat a child to please the boss， and there is no such a conception of degree between employee and employer， they feel everyone is equal， which is quite different from china。
Connected to the second scene， the third difference I want to analyze is the care for the children。 In America， people pay more attention to the right of children which can be seen from the law—leaving children alone at home is illegal， while in China it is so mon that almost everyone may experience such loneliness。 And Children Welfare Agency does work in America which shows the importance Americans attach to children’s right。 What’s more， I remember a line ‘No one won the case， especially the child。’ In my opinion， it also manifests the universal concern from the American public to the children。
The fourth aspect is following the procedure， in the film， more than there times， the people focus on the rule， the law， the procedure。 At the Christmas Eve Xu wants to return back to his home pretending as a Santa Claus， what a pity， the security recognizes him and persuades ‘you are always a good tenement， never causes troubles for me。’ And another scene is at the end of the film ， the judge says ‘I have to follow the procedure。’ However， in China people always have to ask for a favor to do something， and later you have to pay back the favor ，for myself， I prefer the American style， strict to the procedure。
The fifth and the last point is the humors， Quinlan says ‘you can’t fall， your health security is the pany paid。’ ‘Datong， wele home， maybe next time， you can e from the front door。’ ‘dady， why you e from the window’ ‘ because we don’t have a chimney。’ I really adore this distinguished American humor， especially in dangerous situations， which is quite rare in China。

I'm a little annoyed with Up right now， because it made me cry in the first 10 minutes。
Crying at the end of a movie is easier to hide -- you can mutter about allergies or how too much puter time makes your eyes red。 But crying at the beginning of the movie makes you feel like an awfully sappy wuss。 Thank goodness I had big ol' 3-D glasses on， which at least managed to hide any telltale traces of weakness 。。。 until I cried again at the end， damn it。
Up is the latest film from Pixar， and this time the main character is not a robot or rat or monster， but rather a little old man who looks like Spencer Tracy and occasionally growls like Clint Eastwood in Gran Torino。 After his wife dies， Carl Fredericksen (Ed Asner) faces a lonely life ahead， possibly in a retirement munity。 He decides to have the adventure that he and his wife always dreamed of， and sets out for the quasi-legendary Paradise Falls in South America。 His method of travel? The family home， lifted by an amazing
canopy of balloons。 However， he isn't alone 。。。 he's inadvertently picked up an enthusiastic 8-year-old Wilderness Explorer， Russell (Jordan Nagai)， who only wants to help。
As the movie progresses， Carl's house stops being a means for escape and adventure， and turns into a burden that the two explorers have to drag around with them。 And the movie shifts from a sweet and slightly fantastic story about how an older man copes with loneliness and regret， into a ic action-adventure tale with a setting and characters that would be right at home in Warner Bros。 cartoons， especially the
Up moves smoothly from romance to drama to fantasy to edy to action-adventure and then back to sentimental drama again， without jolting your emotions around too much。 The sentimental parts are sweet but not cloying or overdone。 On the other hand， the
Carl-Russell relationship seemed a little too familiar to me， something we've encountered for decades， from
Co-director Pete Docter also directed Monsters， Inc。， another Pixar edy with some sweet moments and even a few that have you plaining about the allergies and the way that screen glare can make your eyes water。 Bob Peterson， who contributed to scripts for Finding Nemo and other Pixar movies， co-directed and wrote the screenplay and voices one of the dogs。 Pixar fans will appreciate the little touches typical of the
studio's films -- of course John Ratzenberger has a role， this time as a construction worker，
and there are a number of quick visual jokes that are impossible to catch in a single viewing。
It goes without saying， as it has for even the weaker Pixar entries， that the movie looks gorgeous。 I saw Up in 3-D， found the 3-D effects to be very subtle 。。。 so subtle that at times I wondered if parts of the film had been rendered into 3-D at all。 The 3-D
occasionally adds some depth of field that enhances the overall look of the movie， but for the most part you could do without it and not miss anything。 I'm a little sorry that the one theater in town with 4K digital is only showing the movie in 3-D because I would love to see how a high-quality traditional screening fares in parison。
Up is good enough to be included in arguments about which Pixar film is best， although I would still fight for Ratatouille， myself。 Is Up a children's film with side jokes for adults， a family film， or a film that's made for grownups but has many elements that children also can enjoy? At times it seems to fit in any of these categories as well as others -- it would be a great date film -- but ultimately it boils down to being a very good movie that defies demographic categorization。 In other words， if you're old enough to sit quietly through a feature film， go see it。 (And bring tissues。)

What would it feel if I can wake up everyday forgetting what happened for the last whole year?
Lucy in the movie “50 First Dates” told me this feeling。 Every morning when she woke up， she only rememberred the Sunday of last year which was her father’s birthday， also the date she had the car accident which made her only keep memory before Sunday， so she always felt happy living the same habit as what she did on Sunday a year ago with the kind set-up by her father and brother。 After meeting Henry， she could only remember who he was on the same day。 But after one night， he became a stranger to her。 She couldn’t even recognize he was the one she used to date and love everyday。 Henry tried his best to give her a new different meeting every day so as to win her smile and regain their “First Date”。 Henry made her tapes every morning to help her remember what happened the day before and the last whole year。 Lucy thus felt grateful with all she had when she woke up everyday。 On the same day， she always had the same deep gratitude to face Henry with her sweet smile。
What a beautiful feeling it is to always feel thanksgiving and to always appreciate each other’s effort。 A touching story between a memory lost woman and a devoted man taught all of us， normal people， the essence of love。 When two people can thank each other for their devotion everyday like what they did for each other on first date， love can forever be refreshed and energetic。 On Lucy’s side， people with memory will ask for more than yesterday and bee critical of their partners day by day， while people without memory will feel grateful for their life and the people around them everyday。
In the movie， when one day Lucy decided to break up with Henry to let him rebuild his life by burning all their diaries and tapes， I cried for Henry’s broken heart。 For her， it was just one day feeling。 For him， it was long-term affection and connection。 It was easier for her than him to give up their love。 On Henry’s side， people with memory will always remember the past happiness and treasure it for the rest of their life， while people without memory will easily give up at the end of the same day。
What a ruthless feeling it is to end a relationship just after one minute thought。 People with fragile mind would easily ruin a long-term relationship no matter what reason they have。 The torture between Lucy and Henry tells us the fatal factor to do harm to intimacy between a couple is their fragile mind of balancing emotion and reason。 Thus most of couple lose their trust for each other after experiencing this weakly testing broke-up。

阿甘正传
Starring: Tom Hanks, Robin Wright, Gary Sinise, Sally Field This was flat out one of the best movies of 1994. It won best picture for a reason, along with a few other Academy Awards. I think one of the tag lines for the movie was, "The world will never be the same once you've seen it through the eyes of Forrest Gump." How true. The movie is basically one si-mp-le man's journey through life. And what a journey.
The movie opens with Forrest (Hanks) sitting at a bus stop, waiting to go see Jenny (Wright) after being apart from her for years. Who is Jenny, you ask? We'll get to that in a minute. Forrest strikes up a conversation or two with the people that come and wait for the bus with him. Or, more accurately, he keeps talking regardleof whether anybody is listening or not. The movie plays out as a flashback, with Forrest taking us through all the major events of his life and narrating them.
The flashback starts when Forrest is a little boy, about six years old or so, just at about the age where he should be starting school. We get to take a look at Forrest's childhood as he gets leg braces to straighten out his back, as his momma (Field) fights (and does a few other things) to get him into public school, and as he meets for the first time the love of his life. Jenny. He meets her on the way to school, sitting next to her on the bus, and they strike up a friendship immediately.
Eventually we progreto the point where Forrest and Jenny are in high school, and we travel along with Forrest as he makes it onto the football team and gets to go to college. Forrest and Jenny never date, but he's always there to protect her. Anytime he thinks she's in trouble, he rushes to the rescue, ready to beat the ever-loving snot out of anyone who even looks at his Jenny wrong. I think one of my favorite scenes in the movie is when someone is dumb enough to slap Jenny. The film goes slow motion, Forrest's eyes go wide, and he starts charging at this guy like a runaway locomotive, and has the striking force of one too. Watching him beat the crap out of that guy is hilarious.
As Forrest grows up and goes through school, college, the army, a Vietnam tour, becomes a ping pong celebrity, a shrimp boat captain, and eventually one of the richest men out there, he also gets to take a few stops in history as the filmmaker gives us his own spin of how he thinks history would have happened if Forrest Gump were there. He gets to meet the President three times, he's the man who exposes the Watergate scandal, he's at the school doors when Governor George Wallace tries to get some Negroes into a white school, and so on and so forth. It's really funny the way they manipulate historical footage to insert Forrest into the events of the past.
This is truly a great movie. You'd be a fool to miit。
